the new project! we have 2 months.
Now that it’s been given the go-ahead from all parties, we are working on making.. 30 custom triathlon suits for the first ever Taiwan Ironman this Oct.
Our suits will display the SILVRDWN, IRONMAN Taiwan 70.3, Howard’s Bike and CEEPO logos, and are being custom made for over 20 Taiwanese triathletes. The manufacturer that we are working with to produce our designs, is Eclat Taiwan.
Ironman, like any other triathlon, takes high endurance. It consists of ocean swimming, cycling, then running. Athletes need specialized gear that works for all three sports, which is the Tri-Suit that we are currently developing. This suit is worn next to the body, underneath any wetsuits or parkas that athletes may choose to wear.
So.. an idea of properties that we need in these highly technical garments:
quick dry, wicking, breathability, light cycling padding, compression, support
free range of movement, streamline, fitted, and of course.. ergonomic body conscious seaming, and some SILVRDWN design flair.
The Taiwan Ironman features 25 spots, for qualifying athletes to compete at the 2011 Hawaii Ironman World Championship 70.3.
